Finding the ideal partner

    Your packaging says: "statistically significant." What does that mean?

    When a scientist says a result is “significant,” the definition isn't up for interpretation. This word is only used when the change is real, not based on chance or luck.

    In placebo-controlled trials, a "significant" difference between the results of the active group and the placebo group indicates that the substance being tested is definitely responsible. For example, in the BioSil® clinical trials, one "statistically significant" finding was a 30% reduction in the depth of fine lines and wrinkles.

    Any product has seen real positive results in the lab will say that its results are “statistically significant.” If this phrase isn't used, the changes may well be negligible.

    How is BioSil® different than products that contain collagen?

    BioSil® is not made from collagen, it generates collagen. When you ingest collagen your body breaks it down and digests it as food. Your body views collagen supplements like any other protein-rich meal: meat, seafood, poultry. In this way, many collagen supplements aren't very different from drinking a protein shake.
