The human eye can see 7,000,000 colors. Good luck naming them all! Colors can greatly influence how we look, feel and even act. Colors come into play in almost every aspect of our lives, so its important to understand how to harness the power of this complex chromatic spectrum. As the Kung Fu master once famously said…. “choose wisely grass hopper.”
Here’s Christie’s take on the remarkable rainbow of choices.
I’ve been a vegetarian since I was about 12 years old. I can tell you why I made this choice in 5 easy words: “A trip to the slaughterhouse.” I’m not saying you have to be a vegetarian to be healthy, not at all, it’s just my personal choice.
I go for as many colors in food as possible in a day. That way I get all the nutrients I need. The deep greens, yellows, reds , oranges, purples, all of that. That’s just an overarching concept to the way I like to eat, along with the whole idea of variety in exercise, variety in food with the colors. I like to vary what I have.
I’m a firm believer that you should as many nutrients as possible from your food, but a good supplement can work wonders!
Here, I choose BioSil blue (as in the color of their label). I take BioSil every day, and I’m amazed at the difference I see in my skin hair and nails. BioSil is clinically proven to generate lost collagen, add new collagen and protect your existing collagen. That’s important because we women lose 1.5% of our collagen every year past the age of 21. My kids tell me “Mom, BioSil blue makes you look new!”
